As your Santa Fe magistrate, judge, my commitment is simple: apply the law fairly, treat every person with dignity and respect, and protect the safety of our community. Every decision I make will be guided by integrity, impartiality, and accountability.
Fair and Equal Justice
Every person who enters the courtroom deserves to be heard, treated with respect, and judged solely on the facts and the law- and not personal opinions, financial status, political party or background.
Public Safety Through Accountability
A safe community requires a justice system that holds individuals accountable while following the law. I will make decisions that prioritize public safety, protect victims’ rights, and encourage lawful behavior throughout our community. I will also focus on reducing our recidivism rate while focusing on our repeat offenders.
Integrity and Impartiality
A judge must be independent, ethical, and free from outside influence. I will uphold the law with honesty, fairness, and impartiality in every case that comes before the court.
Respect for Every Person
Whether someone appears in court as a victim, defendant, witness, attorney, law-enforcement officer, or community member, everyone deserves to be treated with professionalism, dignity, and respect.
Accessible Justice
The courtroom should never be intimidating because of a lack of understanding. I believe in clear, communication, respectful proceedings, and ensuring that everyone has confidence that they have been heard and treated fairly.
